WiFi range can be affected by a lot of different things including router strength, walls, and other obstacles like trees, so narrowing down an exact range is impossible because each location is different. But here is what we recommend:
V.004 - Outdoor Sensor
We have placed a strong WiFi antenna in the hub allowing for maximum range. We recommend a maximum distance 150feet from your router in most locations. The WiFi antenna does have some directionality. If you are not getting the range you need, try turning the hub 90degrees to see if that improves the connection. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee Wifi range.
V.002 - Indoor Sensor
The range is usually around 75-100feet. Walls can cut down on connection strength, however due to this sensor being for indoor use connection issues are limited due to most homes having WiFi connection throughout.
